Assessing the Impact of Lipoprotein (a) Lowering With TQJ230 on Major Cardiovascular Events in Patients With CVD (Lp(a)HORIZON)

Assessing the Impact of Lipoprotein (a) Lowering With TQJ230 on Major Cardiovascular Events in Patients With CVD (Lp(a)HORIZON)

18-80 years
All genders
Phase 3
This is a pivotal phase 3 study designed to support an indication for the reduction of cardiovascular risk in patients with established CVD and elevated Lp(a)
The REMBRANDT Study (Recovery of the Microbiome from Antibiotics for Dental Implants)

The REMBRANDT Study (Recovery of the Microbiome from Antibiotics for Dental Implants)

60-100 years
All genders
The purpose of the study is to determine whether owning a pet changes the disruption and recovery of a person's microbiome (collection of bacteria in the intestines) following a course of antibiotics after they have received dental implant treatment.
The FIRE Trial: Reducing patient memory recall in the burning mouth patient population

The FIRE Trial: Reducing patient memory recall in the burning mouth patient population

18-99 years
All genders
Observational
The purpose of this study is to collect real-time data, such as pain symptoms and exercise habits, to investigate the factors that influence burning mouth symptoms. Participants will be asked to complete questionnaires during the in-person visits and you will receive up to three, random daily notifications from your smartphone to answer a series of questions. In total, the questions in the survey will take approximately less than 1 minute to answer. Participation will last for about 12 weeks. Potential maximum compensation of $190

The OHART Study

18-99 years
All genders
The purpose of this study is to investigate different oral and systemic problems including dental carries, periodontal disease, dry mouth, high cholesterol, diabetes, heart disease, and osteoporosis, observed in patients living with HIV on antiretroviral therapy.

A phase 3, randomized, double-blind study of ianalumab (VAY736) versus placebo in addition to first-line corticosteroids in primary immune thrombocytopenia

All genders
To demonstrate that the addition of ianalumab to standard first-line corticosteroids prolongs Time to Treatment Failure compared to Corticosteroids alone in participants with primary ITP. ITP means immune thrombocytopenia. Time from randomization to treatment failure which is defined as Platelet count below 30G/L after 8 weeks from randomization. Need for a rescue treatment after 8 weeks from randomization. Start of a second-line therapy or death. Complete response rate at each time point which is defined as the proportion of participants with any platelet count of at least 100 G/L in the absence of rescue treatment or new ITP treatment. Response rate at each timepoint which is defined as the proportion of participants with any platelet count of at least 50 G/L in the absence of rescue treatment or new ITP treatment.
