The research study will test the performance of new magnetic resonance imaging and spectroscopy techniques at 7.0 Tesla. These new methods have already been tested in model systems and need to be tried on human subjects prior to use in patient population.
Collect safety and efficacy data of MMAE in patients ages 40-90 years with a moderately symptomatic convexity chronic subdural hematoma (CSDH). Subjects will be randomized 1:1 to conventional surgery or MMAE treatment and followed for 180 days (+/- 30 days).
