Brief description of study

This research study is being conducted to determine the feasibility of delivering FLASH ultra-high dose-rate proton-therapy (ConformalFLASH) to patients requiring reirradiation of their head and neck cancer.

  • Age: 99 years or below
  • Gender: All

The purpose of this research study is to learn if it is feasible to deliver an ultra-high dose-rate type of proton radiation therapy to people who need radiation treatment again for head and neck cancer.

Participants will receive ultra-high dose-rate proton radiation therapy as part of reirradiation for their head and neck cancer.

Who can participate:
People with head and neck cancer who need radiation treatment again may be able to participate if they:

  • Need reirradiation (radiation treatment again) for head and neck cancer
