Brief description of study

The study is a clinical trial open to people who require additional lowering of low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C) and who also have a genetic condition called heterozygous familial hypercholesterolemia (HeFH) and/or evidence of premature coronary artery disease (CAD). Premature CAD is the narrowing or blockage of arteries that supply the heart with blood. These conditions are associated with an increased risk for heart attacks and strokes.

The purpose of the study is to assess the safety and tolerability of an investigational medicine, called VERVE-102, and to see if it can lower LDL-C levels with a single dose.
