Brief description of study
This study aims to test an adapted version of the Supporting Transitions to Adulthood to Reduce Suicide (STARS) program to increase the use of the Safety Planning Intervention (SPI; an evidence-based treatment for suicidal ideation) and reduce suicidal ideation among young adults (ages 18-34 years). Aim 1 of the study is to develop a real-time feedback tool that allows users to report their real time experiences and receive feedback tailored to their emotional and behavioral patterns. Aims 2 and 3 are to conduct a three arm clinical trial testing STARS, STARS+ (including the new real-time feedback tool), to SPI on its own, evaluating effectiveness and implementation outcomes.
