STRIDE DYSTONIA VIM0423-201
Brief description of study
To evaluate the clinical efficacy of VIM0423 compared to placebo in individuals with isolated dystonia.
Detailed description of study
The study medication is a new medication that has been evaluated in Phase 1 studies in both healthy adults and in adults with isolated dystonia. The study medication is taken daily as a combination of oral tablets from 2 separate bottles. It is designed to target receptors in the brain that are involved in dystonia and related movement disorders. Currently, there is no treatment option for all types of dystonia and no oral drugs approved. Study medications available through clinical research studies make it possible for doctors to discover potential treatments for rare diseases, like isolated dystonia
