Brief description of study

The purpose is to develop and validate machine learning (ML) models to predict severe PGD after lung transplantation based on information that is known at the time of donor offer acceptance. The study will use a retrospective cohort of patients who underwent lung transplantation at five US sites to refine and enhance the ML model developed using the single center cohort. Then, the study will prospectively enroll lung transplant recipients from the five sites to validate the ML models.
