Brief description of study

The study evaluates the efficacy and safety of brenipatide vs. placebo as an add-on to ongoing MDD treatment. Eligible participants have MDD in remission or near remission with residual symptoms. They will complete a ~4-week Screening period before randomization, followed by a Double-Blind Adjunctive Treatment period until relapse, other discontinuation criteria, or the primary endpoint is reached.
