B.Brilliant Novel Wide Angle DBT Syatem
Brief description of study
Primary Objective
To assess whether B.brilliant, a Novel Digital Breast Tomosynthesis System leads to better visualization of calcifications compared to standard wide-angle DBT imaging Secondary Objectives
To evaluate the accuracy of NDBT B.brilliant for predicting the number of calcifications and extent of the calcification cluster(s) and morphology compared to standard wide-angle DBT (including synthetic images for both) with diagnostic magnification views as the gold standard.
To assess whether subjects imaged with B.brilliant and standard wide-angle DBT perceive any difference in ease of exam or pain. To assess whether MAMMOMAT B.brilliant, a Novel Wide-Angle Digital Breast Tomosynthesis System leads to better visualization of calcifications compared to standard wide-angle DBT imaging (MAMMOMAT Revelation).
The hypothesis is that increased resolution and conspicuity of in breast calcifications using the B.brilliant system will lead to better radiologist evaluation due to more precise morphologic characterization To evaluate the accuracy of B.brilliant for predicting the number of calcifications and extent of the calcification cluster(s) and morphology compared to standard wide-angle DBT (including synthetic images for both) with diagnostic magnification views as the gold standard.
