Brief description of study

This research study aims to understand patients’ perspectives, understanding, and preferences regarding how health information is delivered through short videos. As part of the study, you will watch a short (90-second) health informational video and answer a few questions about your understanding and impressions. We are evaluating different versions of the video to learn which approaches are most helpful and engaging.

Detailed description of study

What will I be asked to do? 

If you are eligible and agree to participate, you will be asked to complete the following:

  1. Read and sign an informed consent document 
    - This explains what you can expect from us and what we expect from you.
  2. Watch a short informational video 
    - Participants will be randomly assigned to view one of two brief educational videos (A/B testing) related to health.
  3. Complete a 10–20 minute survey: https://redcap.link/PennMedvideo 

 

 

Eligibility of study

You may be eligible for this study if you meet the following criteria:

  • Conditions: Healthy
  • Age: 20 years - 74 years
  • Gender: All

  •  20-74 years old
  • Willing to complete a short survey
