Brief description of study

Are you experiencing hot flashes or night sweats?

We are testing a menopausal hormone therapy for hot flashes, night sweats, and other symptoms.

Detailed description of study

This is a phase 4, multinational, multicenter, double-blinded, placebo-controlled randomized 2-arm parallel clinical trial to test the efficacy, safety, and tolerability of Hormone Therapy for Vasomotor symptoms such as hot flashes and related symptoms of the menopause transition among women living with HIV.

The study lasts up to 5 months. Menopausal hormone therapy consists of a transdermal estradiol gen (to be rubbed on skin) nd a progesterone pill.

Eligibility of study

You may be eligible for this study if you meet the following criteria:

Conditions: Medical Research
Age: 40 years - 60 years
Gender: All

Women living with HIV (Cisgender, transgender, and nonbinary participants assigned female at birth)

Aged 40-60yrs

Perimenopausal or postmenopausal

Experiencing hot flashes or night sweats
