Immune Health Stability and Plasticity in Healthy Adults (MIH)
Brief description of study
This is a minimal risk observational study being conducted to evaluate changes in the immune cell populations in the blood, and to learn about the normal fluctuations in these cell populations in adults over time.
Detailed description of study
Participation may last up to five years, with occasional visits.
Over time, you’ll provide a collection of small blood samples at Penn Medicine to track changes in the immune system (each visit takes just a few minutes).
After each visit, we’ll send you a short online health survey to capture any recent changes in your health.
We’ll review your medical records to support the research, but your information will be kept strictly confidential and stored securely.
You’ll receive $30 for each blood sample you provide.
While there’s no direct medical benefit to you, your participation will help advance vital immunology research.
