Brief description of study

Living with HIV and struggling with depression or both depression and memory problems?

We are looking for participants for a research study comparing two medications: pramipexole extended release (ER) and escitalopram.

Detailed description of study

What’s involved?

Participate for 24 weeks
Receive one of the two study medications (both of which are taken by mouth)
Attend regular study visits

Eligibility of study

You may be eligible for this study if you meet the following criteria:

Conditions: Medical Research
Age: 99 years or below
Gender: All

Living with HIV
Ages 18-70 years old
Diagnosed with major depressive disorder
On stable HIV treatment for at least 3 months
