Brief description of study

Single patient compassionate use protocol. Received palliative first-line treatment with FOLFIRINOX/FOLFIRI from 6/2017 through 4/2018 at which time her disease remained stable. The patient was suffering from cumulative chemotherapy toxicities and therefore elected to enroll in UPCC 35217, a trial of maintenance niraparib with either nivolumab or ipilimumab in patients with advanced pancreatic cancer and stable disease following at least four months of chemotherapy. She was randomized to the Niraparib/Ipilimumab arm and began therapy on 6/26/18. The patient developed a gr3 dermatitis secondary to C1 of ipilimumab, so this drug was discontinued. She has remained on niraparib through present time with complete disease control.

The clinical trial has now closed, but given ongoing response to treatment, we request that the patient be permitted to continue to receive niraparib for her metastatic pancreatic cancer.
