Brief description of study

This study's primary objective will be to collect tissue & body fluid specimens for immediate analysis and short-term storage, to obtain scientifically relevant clinical characteristics, and to maintain subject confidentiality in subjects undergoing Thoracic Surgery at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. To examine and identify cell markers which share a common link between tissue and blood samples. And to identify possible links between subject blood samples after surgery with intraoperative samples. To determine the significance of the changes in the subject's blood and long-term prognosis
