Brief description of study

This study is being done to help researchers understand if specific genetic mutations are associated with atopic dermatitis or eczema are present in patients who identify as Latino(a) or Hispanic.

Detailed description of study

Participation in this study is limited to a single patient visit. During this visit, you will be asked to fill out a questionnaire and provide a sample of saliva. There are no required visits or time commitments on your part.

Eligibility of study

You may be eligible for this study if you meet the following criteria:

Conditions: atopic dermatitis,eczema
Age: 100 years or below
Gender: All

Inclusion

Identify as Latino and have a diagnosis of atopic dermatitis for at least one-year duration
Ability to provide a sample of saliva (2 mL or less than half a teaspoon).

Exclusion

Do not identify as Latinx or
Do not have a diagnosis of atopic dermatitis for at least one-year
