Brief description of study

The objectives of the study are to quantify cardiac metabolic consumption of approximately 100 metabolites, measurable by quantitative mass spectrometry. The metabolic consumption of the heart will be measured in patients with heart failure who are simultaneously undergoing invasive hemodynamic assessment via right heart catheterization. Quantitative measurement of metabolites. None.
