Brief description of study

The research study is being conducted to better understand the role of immune cells in the development of joint inflammation in patients with inflammatory arthritis and to identify immune predictors in tissue and fluid from joints and blood that can be used in the clinic to assign the best therapy for a rheumatologic patient.

Detailed description of study

We will obtain joint tissue by a minimally invasive ultrasound guided synovial tissue biopsy, joint fluid by a standard bedside procedure, and/or blood through standard venipuncture from patients with inflammatory arthritis, osteoarthritis, and healthy subjects.
