Brief description of study

The objective of this study is to complete a pre-implementation inquiry at RHD to assess barrier and facilitators to implementing a new intervention and assess awareness, acceptability and knowledge of HIV prevention modalities like PrEP among staff and residents. Narrative summaries will be generated for each participant, using transcripts and notes taken during the interview, in order to identify key thematic findings. Analysis will be guided by an integrated approach that includes identification of a priori attributes of interest (i.e., constructs from CFIR), and modified grounded theory, which provides a rigorous, systematic approach to identifying emergent codes and themes. This integrated approach uses an inductive process of iterative coding to identify recurrent themes, categories, and relationships. After initial exploration of data, a comprehensive coding scheme is developed and applied to all data to produce a fine-grained descriptive analysis. N/A
