Brief description of study
The
purpose of this study is to partner with patients to understand how to best
treat the mental health and substance use needs of individuals living with HIV who
receive care at Penn Medicine. Participating in this study involves a one-time interview. During the interview, a researcher will ask
you about your experiences getting treatment for opioid use and mental health. We
want to learn what helps people connect with care, what makes it challenging,
and how we can help more patients living with HIV access the care they need for
substance use and mental health needs.
