Brief description of study

This implementation science study is looking at clinicians in 4 regional burn centers and their opinions of telemedicine use in burn care. We will use surveys, qualitative interviews and eventually a toolkit to make telemedicine and teleconsultation use easy and more acceptable during a mass casualty event. 

Detailed description of study

This study is being completed in three different phases. Phase one includes online surveys using the RedCap program. Phase II is completing qualitative interviews to further assess clinician’s barriers to using telemedicine. Aim 3 rolls out the toolkit to sites and includes surveys and interviews to assess changes in opinions. 

Eligibility of study

You may be eligible for this study if you meet the following criteria:

  • Conditions:
    Burn Care
  • Age: Between 18 Years - 100 Years
  • Gender: All

Inclusion
  • 18 years of age or older and
  • Are providing burn care to patients at the 4 burn centers and the non-burn hospitals are eligible for inclusion.
Exclusion
  • Do not meet inclusion criteria,
  • Decline to participate or do not give consent to participate in the study,
  • Directly express uneasiness about the participation
