Brief description of study

The purpose of the study is to learn more about the treatment outcomes for small renal masses. The study team wants to keep track of how people do after they have chosen surveillance or surgery to learn more about the natural progression of disease to better recognize and understand it. Finally, we would like to learn about the quality of life in people with these masses. You will be in this study for a minimum of two years, and up to ten years. This is a trial designed to watch the natural progression of small renal masses, so you can remain in the study as long as you are willing and able. Even if you change groups from surveillance to surgery you are encouraged to remain in the study. You may stop taking part at any time if you wish to do so.
