Brief description of study
To collect Tau PET imaging in cognitively normal older African American (AA) adults in the ABCD2 study to determine relationship to clinical, cognitive, and other biomarker data. Findings from this study will likely provide insight into the mechanisms and distinctions of age-related cognitive decline and that of Alzheimer's disease. Eligible subjects will be enrolled in the ABCD2 (protocol 844047).
The Flortaucipir racer will be manufactured by the UPENN Cyclotron and delivered to Radiology the day of the visit.
