The Boundaries of
Anxiety and Depression Lab at the University of Pennsylvania is conducting a
research study on depression in adults.
Detailed description of study
The purpose of the study is to learn more about emotions such as anxiety and depression and how they relate to events, both positive and negative, that people experience in their lives. We sought to identify participants for the study who experience varying levels of anxiety and depression in daily life.
This study consists of two parts. This part involves one visit to our laboratory during which you will be participating in an interview. The interview may last anywhere from 30 minutes to 3 hours.
If you meet certain requirements, you will be asked to come back for one or more of the subsequent study phases described in the consent form. After you complete the interview, you will be told which subsequent phases you qualify for and how much compensation you can expect to receive for participating in each one.
