Brief description of study

The purpose of this pilot study is to determine how safe, effective and acceptable it is to transplant previously frozen ovarian tissue in women who have infertility or inadequate hormonal function after chemotherapy or radiation. This procedure is experimental and may or may not help you achieve pregnancy or restore hormonal function.

Detailed description of study

You will be in the study for 5 years after transplantation of ovarian tissue. 10 subjects are expected to enroll in the study over a 5 year period (1-2 per year) at the University of Pennsylvania.

Eligibility of study

You may be eligible for this study if you meet the following criteria:

  • Conditions: Infertility, Previously cryopreserved and stored cortical ovarian tissue available for autologous transplantation, Previously cryopreserved and stored cortical ovarian tissue available for autologous transplantation
  • Age: Between 18 Years - 45 Years
  • Gender: Female
